3. The album is very well made and the sound quality is superb. I have both an LP and a CD, but the LP sounds more live and dynamic in my system. If you like acoustic jazz, this album would be one of the must collections. I've never get tired of listening to all tracks in this album. I highly recommend the original LP version.5/5(5).

4. The first LP series from Groove Note in their new format! Instead of 1 33 1/3 LP and a 45rpm LP, the entire album is cut on two 45 rpm LP's for better sound quality! Enjoy! Acoustic Brazilian guitarist Laurindo Almeida and Bud Shank (doubling on alto and flute) recorded music in the mid's that set the stage for bossa-nova.
